Cub Family STEM Day
Join us at Cub Family STEM Day 2026 - Something Wacky This Way Comes!
Calling all curious Cubs, daring Cub leaders, and science-loving siblings!
If Phineas and Ferb had one day to invent the ultimate Cub Scout adventure... this would be it.
Get ready to build, blast, mix, and zoom through a day packed with mind-blowing science and high-energy fun. Whether you're making gooey slime in Slime-a-Tron 9000, launching film canister rockets at Blast Off Base, or figuring out why toothpaste shouldn’t explode (but totally will at Bubble Trouble Lab), you’re in for a wild ride through the world of STEM!
Join us at Cub Family STEM Day at Bert Adams Scout Camp on Saturday, February 21, 2026!
What’s the Game Plan?
We'll start with flags and our opening ceremony before breaking out into several thrilling STEM adventure zones!
Adventure Zones – Before Lunch
Scouts will travel through themed STEM Adventure Zones, each one full of hands-on experiments and explosive activities. It's like being in a cartoon science lab where everything’s safe, but nothing’s boring.
- Experiments
- Engineering Challenges
- Chemical Reactions
- Mini Missions
…and of course, plenty of controlled mayhem.
Don’t worry - there are goggles.

Experiment Alley & Range – After Lunch
After lunch, the adventure kicks into overdrive!
Range Time
Take aim and test your skills with archery and BBs in our supervised range area.
STEM Alley
Explore booths and hands-on exhibits that highlight science, technology, engineering, and math, including exhibits from STEM@GTRI and Rivian (see an electric vehicle in action!).
This event is open to all Cub Scouts and their families!
Bring your brain. Bring your bravery. And maybe bring a towel. You won’t want to miss a single bubbling, bursting, building moment!
