Spring Family Cub-a-ree

April 17–19, 2026 - and it’s going full Ninja Turtle!

Gear up for a weekend at Bert Adams where the forest becomes your dojo and every activity is an adventure. Bring your whole family (or roll in with your Pack) and enjoy classic Scouting fun with a Turtle-powered twist. Choose a Dining Hall meal plan (for an extra fee) or show off your camp-chef skills by cooking at your campsite! Every participant scores an exclusive, one-of-a-kind Spring Family Cub-a-Ree patch - totally collectible, totally radical.

If you're spending the weekend with us, campsites will be pre-assigned and communicated the week of the event. The earlier you register, the better your chances for snagging a prime spot! Private shower houses with running water and flush toilets are available throughout camp - no sewer lairs here, just clean comfort for all ninjas.

The action begins Friday after 5 PM with check-in… but the real kickoff happens on Friday night from 7–8 PM with an all-out, team-vs-team Capture the Pizza battle! Race, strategize, sneak, and sprint in a full-camp showdown that would make Master Splinter proud. It’s the perfect way to launch your ninja weekend.

Prefer to join the adventure just for the day? No problem! “Day Only” ninjas are always welcome. Saturday-only or Saturday-night arrivals can check in at 7:30 AM on Saturday morning. Saturday programming is from 9am-4pm.

Webelos Woods: Ninja Edition! - New for 2026 

Older Cubs, get ready for Webelos Woods: Ninja Edition! Level up your training as you master key 1st-year Scout skills, work side-by-side with fellow Webelos and AOLs, and take on challenges deep in the “dojo woods.” Webelos Woods runs 9am–4pm on Saturday, followed by a special hour on your own exclusive Range & Target course from 4–5pm. Lunch is included. Cowabunga!

Parent Note: Adults do not need to attend Webelos Woods programming with their Scouts—however, all parents and guardians must remain on camp property during the event.

Cost

  • $35 per Cub Scout age youth, Lion - Bear
  • $45 per Cub Scout age youth, Webelo/AOL age
  • $20 per Adult
  • Free ages 4 years and under
  • $10 per meal (breakfast, lunch and/or dinner)
  • $25 per Adventure Tent (houses 4 family members)

Cancellation & Refund Policy for Cub Activities

  • Final payments & numbers are due 1 month prior to the date of your event.
  • No subtractions to registration numbers after the 1-month prior deadline.
  • Up to 1 month prior to the event, you can receive a 100% refund (not on products).
  • From 30 to 21 days prior to the event, you can receive a 50% refund (not on products).
  • No refund is available after 21 days prior to the event.

Volunteer

Please register to Volunteer at Spring Family Cub-a-ree.  We can not put these events on without the help of Scouters and Troops, Crews and Ships!  

It takes a large team of volunteers and staff to make Fall Family Camp an amazing experience for our Scouts.  Scout BSA Troops or individual Scouts are encouraged to volunteer to help at this event. Volunteers will have meals, lodging, and a patch, plus service hours (where applicable). If you are interested in volunteering, please register at the link below.  You will receive further information from our Volunteer Coordinator closer to the event.
